Join us for a creative 2 hour class and create your own hand built mug! This is a great opportunity to find out if the world of clay is a hidden passion that has yet to be discovered. You will receive step by step instruction, hand building and underglazing techniques. Upon completion, your piece will be fired and ready for pickup 2 weeks from the date of the class.

In this class, students will learn the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. The class is a hands-on experience with the instructor, where you learn the correct form and pressure to handle spinning clay. Each student makes two bowls and gets to decorate them on the wheel in class using underglazes. The instructor will finish off the piece with trimming, glazing, and two firings. The student will be able to pick up their bowls two weeks after class. The finished bowls are food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Students must be age 10(+). 1 session, 1-1.5 hours.

September 19, Join us for a 75 minute make and create at Blush Tea and Coffee! You will build a mug using a pre-rolled slab. Textures, pasta letters, and cookie cutter designs will be available for decorating as well as underglaze for painting color!
